Red RaVGR : Red Shadow's Rapid Vegetation Growth Remover

Still a WIP, but wanted to document where I am at, before I mess it all up in the upcoming stages.

Basically, when the Red Shadows were forced to flee to the Jungle, they brought along this Mech and repurposed him as a bushwacker :

So far, all I've done is built the model, but hated the orange torso & head (sorry, didn't take a shot) so I sprayed them with as close a color as I could find, then added the RS sticker

I about to do panel lines and try to highlight the blades ... wish me luck?

I would ditch the figure stand you are using. It looks too much like an actual human hand. It’s very disconcerting.

That is amazing!

I was expecting to see a repainted Indiana Jones & The Crystal Skull Russian Jungle Cutter, so seeing this was a surprise!

Didn't the Palitoy figures have a SNAKE renamed the Escape Armor? Looks like a great replacement for that.

looks good! i've heard people talk about inking, but really don't know what that entails. is it just black paint applied over the lines, then rubbed off the high surfaces?

that's one way to achieve the same thing.

another thing that's confusing is some folks interchangeable names for 'inks' and 'washes'

in this particular case, I used Micron pens, which are basically super-fine sharpies (although sharpies seem alcohol-based, not sure about Micron)

even going very slow and holding my breath, I *still* colored outside the lines ,,, so, when wiping off, there's a little extra 'shading' on the panels. If I never told you, you might think it was intentional.

It is a Gundam villain merch. I have no idea on the name though.

Spectre's correct, it's this guy "Bandai Hobby HGUC #19 MSM-07S Z'GOK Mobile Suit Gundam Model Kit (1/144 Scale)"
picked up on sale at Amazon quite some time ago (8/18 to be exact)
