I swear I show a batch of new customs during every Celebration just to prove to everyone, including myself, that I still know how to cusotmize. This year, I looked at my WIPs and said to them, "Which of you sons of *LASER BLASTS* can I actually finish?" I tried to get another couple finished over the weekend and came up short. Anyway, on with the show.

Cringer the Battle Cat
Head, sword and axe: Schliech tiger man
Tail: Scliech tiger man and 25th Hit n Run neck ball
Torso and arms: HACKS Bezerker Gorgon
Waist and legs: HACKS knight blank
Armor: HACKS Royal Ruby Creator Kit with Wolverine Origins Deadpool harness
Sword and Axe: Schliech tiger man
Shield: HACKS Royal Ruby Creator Kit
Blaster: fodder kibble

After seeing the 2018 Power Con exclusive Mythic Legions Cowarros, a tribute to the Masters of the Universe Cringer and his alter ego Battle Cat, I wanted to make a 4” version. I kept parting it out and then BossFight would release another figure or accessory kit to make it more playable. That just left color matching the hands, feet, and chest rig to the armor. Two hours later I had the recipe, 40% crimson, 40% silver, 19% copper, and 1% black.

Xenomorph Gorgon
ReAction Alien head with HACKS knife handle
MegaConstrux Alien back tubes
HACKS skeleton torso and arms
Amazing Spider-Man Lizard hands
HACKS Bezerker Gorgon tail with ReAction Alien tail tip

Stonefist’s Temporal Log:
They say in space, no one can hear you bleed. I’ve bled enough for a thousand lifetimes and yet there are threats out here among the stars that would make the gods shutter. The Black Racer must have gotten aboard the vessel before we departed our time river. It would have surly killed us in our sleep had it not fell victim to an even deadlier creature, one that uses the slain body as a nest for its young. There is a new beast and it is the hunter and we are its prey. It is smart, fast, and bleeds burning poison, but it does bleed.
***
Ever since BossFight released the Black Racer Gorgon and black skeleton I’ve wanted to make this custom. It just took me this long to put it all together. You see the Xenomorph alien adopts the traits of the host species. So if a face hugger ever got on a Gorgon, the offspring would have the partial snake body.

I’m not going to lie, adding that snake skull from the Gorgon whip handle to the Alien tongue made me giggle.

Torpedo Sled
Advanced Combat Vehicle
In Brazil, Estrella reworked Kenner’s SSP Sidewinder toy as a Comamdos em Acao vehicle called the [url=https://www.yojoe.com/international/brazil/torpedo.shtml Torpedo]. They painted it olive drab, gave it new stickers, removed the molded driver, and recut the front driver section to fit a GI Joe figure. Someone posted a pic of one recently to discuss the unnamed driver. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to make one.

Bizarro
Kent Clark
Body: DC Multiverse Superman
Head, hands, and coat: Zombie Lab
Necklace: Styrene and sticker with thread
Glasses: nova cast

I was thinking about different ways to use the Zombie Lab zombies other than zombies when I came across the DC Universe Bizarro figure. I was sad because it would have been cool to have that in 4” to battle Christopher Reeves Multiverse Superman. That would be the most imperfect Superman. Then I wondered, what if I used zombie parts on a Superman figure. Bingo bango, Bizarro.

LBC Business Casual Ghost Rider
Head: HACKS Evil Skeleton
Body: MTF Agent suit
Hands: HACKS orange blank
Coat: Raginspoon cast
Tie chain: POtF2 Slave Leia
Helmet: Retaliation Ulitmate Flint
Hoverboard: gumball machine keychain
Chair: DC Pocket Super Heroes with monster truck key car undercarriage
Every flame accessory I have

One of the powers of the Ghostrider is that anything can become a vehicle of vengeance for him. This artwork made the rounds of a business casual Ghostrider on a segway or office chair.

It turns out whenever I’m strapped for time, patience, and/or funds or supplies, that is exactly when I’m my own worst enabler. All it takes is an idea just stupid enough to work to push me over the edge. As soon as the thought of using buttercotch Life Savers hit me, I knew I was doing this. But I had one caveat. I wanted this to be an LBC. I’ve done the hot glue wheels with transparent paint and there is nothing lazy about it. So I had to think of a way to do it without serious modifications. I ended up using every flame effect I have and use camera angles to hide how they weren’t connected. Trying to balance flame effects on a hoverboard that was being balanced by the wall and balanced weight distribution of the free standing figure may be the stupidest thing I’ve ever done. I was literally sweating by the end.

The office chair wasn’t what I’d initially envisioned but I can’t find where I put the one I was going to use. That said, it is actually really fun because it has the monster truck’s spring loaded key launcher play feature. After the photoshoot, I kept launching him across the table.

Yeah, that xenomorph is fantastic, like an extension of the old Kenner line. Battlecat is great too!
