Today I saw a Disney planes jet which measures around 40 cm long. As it is doesn't have much use but I think the overall body design is cool and size should be OK I mean Hasbro gave us smaller jet replicas in the past.

So I was wondering if anyone ever tried to mod de helmet section and turn it into a cockpit and canopy. Not sure which ones could be used from GI Joe. I think the conquest one could look nice.

Anyway anyone ever thought about doing such conversion?

I thought about it, but the idea of getting a canopy to fit and look acceptable always deterred me.

Ye the canopy is the biggest question, which one would be the best choice to fit. I thought of the Conquest one because it is quite slim. All others I remembered require some back section on the fuselage. Maybe the X16 one could be an option also but I think its longer (because its a dual seater) then the conquest.

Problem is I don't have those parts either and the canopy on ebay is being sold for $5 plus shipping. I only found the Echo jet at an affordable price for me (given I'm in Portugal) at ebay UK for £20 plus shipping. It's actually 2 jets so £30 shipped is not that bad I guess for 2 jets but still big investment without being sure of what would fit.

It looks like an F-18 to me. The Skystriker would look best if it isn't too large.
