very nice stuff
I will be getting the SDCC set just for the VAMP mk2 and probably parting out the rest.
They should have just made the repaint the SDCC exclusive.
Heck instead of Flint they could have made Vypra & Stinger!!!

Grr...curse them for putting Serpentor with the giant and no doubt expensive Terror Drome.

.....anyone want to buy all the non-Serpentor parts of a Terror Drome?

How about you'd buy the Serpentor from the TerrorDrome if someone decides to buy two or more...

I honestly think my way would be more cost efficient. People sell individual Kreons (especially from the big sets) for ridiculous amounts.

I agree. It would make more sense to release the normal Vamp Mk 2 and Flint as the non-SDCC version.

I'm hoping they messed up the descriptions.

No release dates yet for 50th
Will be TRU exclusive
Focusing on Joe / Cobra saga

Goal is to have all offerings at Joe Con for fans with release dates.

No 12" figures outside Club offerings. Focused on 3 3/4" because it's the bigger fan base

there's your answer

Yeah, where are all those fans who started playing with Joes in 1964? Hmmm.. 50 years plus they were 6-10 at the time so...

a lot are dead. Sad, but true. But 80's kids? We've got quite a few of those to go around.

huge thanks to sgcaper and bcost74 for representing JC at the toyfair and reporting back -- thanks, guys!

also thanks to Spectre & General Hawk for additional help

thanks to pluv for sending the guys & keeping this thread going!

looks to be a decent year for us Marvel fans, and the Joe stuff is pretty cool, especially if you're a Kreo guy.

only gripe: it wasn't OreoBuilder's set ... :tictoc:

I didnt think i'd give 2 rats ***** about what HAsbro had to offer but lo and behold!

The Kreo Terrordrome.

That..might be a good starting point for a Mega Bloks scale Terror Drome which i'd be all for.

That's not the point.

This is supposed to be a celebration of the debut of GI Joe figures as they were 50 years ago. If they wre going to celebrate the 80's run again why the fuge* isnt this the 32nd Anniversary?

Hell, just go back in time and omit the original run from history since obviously no one cares about it.

I'm sorry if I'm ranty but that's the way I am when I'm pissed.

Me again.

It seems kind of silly to celebrate the 32 year old Joes with the 50 year label on them.

Hasbro built us up for nothing. They alluded to products that celebrated the 50th anniversary. The products that they've shown us would have been done even if this wasn't the 50th anniversary. The 40th anniversary kicked this one's rear-end. Repeatedly.

I am greatly dissatisfied with Hasbro's choice in this.

your stronger word = OreoBuilder.

Seriously, for as upset as you are, go look at his stuff again. Then think about his stuff. Then buy the club's 12" stuff. But then think about OB's stuff again.

OB.

Stuff.

like how the 50th Anniversary of Joe should have been done.

As presented by OB.

On the other hand, they're releasing the Air Adventurer and Mike Powers in the Kre-O line which is pretty cool.
Seems like there's more exciting stuff coming out in block form than actual figures.

So the 50th is about snow and arctic adventures from what I'm seeing.
Yeah, the green vamp shouldn't be a con exclusive, but I understand that they want something that will be popular.

Hasbro seems to go full speed ahead with 5 PoA for most of their new 4" figures.
Want more mobility, get the big boys figures. At least they kept GI Joe the way they should be.

The Star Wars Command line looks fun if you're into miniatures.
I hope they'll make playsets for the line, but it looks like it's just another dash and smash kinda gimmick.
