Picked up a single carded Chitauri Warrior and Nick Fury today from Target, buy 1 get 1 50% off so together they only cost me about $8 a piece. Also snagged a Hoth Luke Skywalker for $7.99 to customize.

Bought two Professor X figures, a White Spider-Man along Captain Action and Dr. Evil yesterday.
Man, that Spidey sure feels rubbery and his big chest hinders his arm movements. His upper legs keep popping out too. Why can't they be built like GI Joe figures with the metal bar and screwed upper legs. GI Joe is still the best constructed figure around.

Price. I think they should drop that upper thigh swivel. It doesn't seem like it is working out or the mold has worn out that it no longer works.

Your finds do confirm, however, that TRU seems to be the best place to find new Marvel Universe figures. A friend of mine recently located a She-Hulk figure there.
