Got a 2 decade dilemma here. Getting into the G.I.Joe RPG here, and had the idea to build my person. Sadly, the only propper legs I have are from the 2 years of repaints from 2000/2001, the ones that are glued together. Anybody know of an easy way to pop these apart with minimum risk of warping/destruction? |

Heat gun for about a 10 count and then run a sharp blade along the seam works some times. |

i don't think i've done any unless one of the streetfighter or mk figures were like that. i would boil a bowl of water in the microwave , put him in it on the counter for a few . fish him out while still too hot to hold, lay him face down, put a strong exacto blade on the seem on back of his leg, and tap it with something firm. might pop open clean, might shatter into pieces. all depends on the type of plastic and how it's aged. proceed at your own risk |
