Post subject:  Steel Brigade figures nearly complete; need advice.
I need advice on my Steel Brigade project. Back in the 2000s, I traded for some AVTF helmets with the intentions of painting them in Steel Brigade colors. :steelbrigade: (My avatar, Marshal, has dibs on Duke's helmet.) I recently decided to price 2004 Anti Venom Task Force figures in case I wanted surplus helmets only to learn prices have shot up. Should I continue with my plans (now that I can paint-match the S.B. v1 helmet colors), or should I wait until I can afford spares?
Most of the helmets' paintwork is in collectible condition. Duke, Roadblock, Mutt (2x), and Charbroil are all in legible shape. I also have AVTF Duke, Roadblock, and Barricade loose, but when you have Duke v1 :duke: & v2 :duke2:, v15 doesn't seem as big of a deal.

I'm always to going to side with customs over selling. It is worth more to me as a custom. I'll enjoy it more than whatever I end up buying with the money. But that's me. It is a seller's market right now for Joes and money is money yo. But those helmets aren't easy to come by which is why they are expensive. So don't sell high now thinking you'll score some cheaper later. They just weren't made in that high of numbers as a TRU exclusive.

how close is the hulkbuster helmet?

theres a couple loose on ebay right now for around $10. i actually had one of these and had no idea what it was. i still have the head and i thought it was a custom cast because it is solid gray w/no paint. i never had the helmet.

a few yrs ago i got a big lot that had losts of cast o-ring parts and some cast (rubber?) i think a few were steel brigade, but all that stuff is long gone now.
