Do the heads from the Star Brigade Armor Tech figures work in the'82-84 Joes? Wondering about the neck pegs.

Somebody recently did a Duke that looked really good, using the Armor Tech Duke head... but I can't remember who, and how long ago it was. I know you would have to modify most modern "original style" necks to work with those original Joe "collars", otherwise they break off, while screwing the figure together.

I am 99% sure I saw it here, but I couldn't find it either... and I went through all of the Dukes in the customs listing, as well as thread searched it. I do go to the Hisstank once a week or so, so that is a possibility.

UPDATE: I couldn't find it on HISSTANK either. Hopefully, whoever made it, sees this thread and can help you! They repainted the eyes and made it look INFINITELY better than it did originally.

That version of Duke comes with a neckball. http://www.yojoe.com/action/94/duke6.shtml

The Armor Tech figures have a swivel, not a neckball. They are a lot wider at the neck.

My bad! I didn't realize there were 2 different Star Brigade Dukes!

It's okay, Nova said a Dremel will solve the problem of the differing peg to socket issue.

It may need a little work, but they work well.

i can't speak to street fighter, but the ninja force storm shadow (and mortal kombat liu kang) that i popped apart, have a very strange, flat, football shaped plate at the bottom, that goes sideways (ear to ear). if you need pics, let me know.

More than the Armor Tech head that's intimidating me?

WAY more! You might have to add and subtract, to make them work. As in, use a dremel or cutoff wheel to modify the "flat football" and then add to it, with epoxy, so that there is something to hold in the neck area.
