Hi guys,

Really need a quick help on this. If you have both vehicles can you make a quick test which is to see if the Thunder Machine front wheels fit the Desert Fox pegs. I'm guessing that in terms of room it should be fine, even if these stick out a bit more its even better. I just want to see if they fit the pegs and if not what kind of mods are required.

If you can take a couple of pictures of the wheels on the Desert Fox I would really appreciate the gesture.

Thanks

Are ferret ATV hubs the same as the Thunder Machine? You may have those.

No they are not. I think the front axle from the Thundermachine is very similar to the Desert Fox one. But I can't be sure if it would fit. I really need someone with both vehicles to try it ot.

Thanks

Thunder Machine front wheel on a ferret. Ferret wheels on the desert fox will tell you if it will work.

Don't have those either :D but looking at them now they seem a bit small when compared to the original wheels of the Desert Fox

Awe striker wheels work with an added spacer up front. In back it's a straight swap out. I would test the thunder striker wheels for you on this custom but it's mounted on the wall plus I'm afraid to break a post if I take the wheels off

I know about those I have them in fact but I don't like them because they use hard plastic they don't have rubber tires. Besides would be a pain to paint the wheels as you cannot disassemble them.

Thunder machine rear wheels have removable rubber

Are you sure? I thought they were like the AWE striker

Any chance you take a shot next to the front ones?

Thanks

Thanks. Actually I prefer the RIMs of the front ones but the tires for desert vehicle I guess the rear ones are better. Although I'm still not sure if they fit the Desert Fox (almost sure they do) now I'm in a dilemma :D

You can always change the axles. I have a Dessert Fox WIP with six Thunder Machine rear wheels.
