im wondering if they work well and how small can you get them, i would like them to do eye work on figures. im wondering if anyone makes .3mm acrylic paint pens, or at least .5mm? any links or suggestions.

I bought the smallest one I could find a couple years ago fir the purposes of trying it in eyes and promptly threw it away. I had no luck in using it. It was imprecise and difficult from what I remember. That doesn't mean there isn't a product that would work, but what I bought didn't work.

i could swear someone on this site awhile back mentioned using fine tip markers to do eyes. i just cant remember if they were paint pens or just normal markers or what. i was worried that normal fine tip felt pens would fade or bleed or who knows what over time.

I use it for eyes, eyebrows and lashes. I think it's a 0.5 mm pen or even less. They work ok the only problem is it takes hours to fully dry. You cannot correct or paint over after a few minutes. It's better then a brush that's for sure.

I don't use paint pens, but the Sakura Micron pigment permanent markers are wonderful for eye details. I use them for everything from the eyelids and lashes, to the pupil and shadows. Size .005 is the best, as it is very micro. I also have used them for freehand tattoos on figures.

THANK YOU Cap! thats what i wanted to know.
i looked them up, it says the 005 is .20mm. im a little confused if thats smaller than .3mm or bigger. but i guess ill see.
i might try using them as a guideline so its easier to paint to paint over it following the line. or if they work well enough maybe just use instead of painting the eyes.
