If Keenan were still here I'd so do the Japanese bow of asking because when we did this for the Ada Wong figure of this size I found we all benefitted from that too. It's from the Dark Horse statuette(just a little over 8") and the sculpt looks like it could be not too difficult casting after. I would soooo decapitate this sumbitch gladly if I knew someone could shrink it down to 1:18 and we can all get to pretend we're Geralt. Attachment: What would something like that run, supplies wise? A general ball park to save for? Either way, I'm cutting his head off for a just in case. Whether someone could scan it for a 3D print or shrink it down, I'll do my part(lopping is head off that is). ; ) |

Raginspoon shrunk the original 1960's GI Joe head for my 50th Anniversary customs. I'll gladly recommend him. OB |

Most awesome. Any idea what he'd charge for the process? Attachment:

I don't know if there is a standard rate or if certain heads are more complex, but at the time (2013), it was about 20$ for shrinking and another 20$ for the making the mold. After that, it was a separate charge per head. Best check with him as YMMV. OB |

i'm very interested in this process/service/price as well. I have two different smiti ozzy heads that I thought would work for 1:18 but they are too big. I think 50% shrinkage might work, but i'm not sure. not mine but just like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Smiti-Playsets-The-Osbourne-Family-Halloween-Exclusive-Figure-Set-/112288578913?hash=item1a24ebbd61:g:nQMAAOSwPhdU3ttc |

Smooth-On has a product called Novocs that you add to the silicon to shrink the mold. I've never tried it but here's some info on the process. https://www.smooth-on.com/tutorials/shr ... e-solvent/ |

Spoon is a good call. I know he's probably gearing up for con, don't know if that would make this a good time or a bad time to reach out. Angry Nomad was also doing this, but I think he might be out of the game now. I also know that Coby at AVACs Labs was looking at getting into the shrinking game, haven't heard if he's fully committed yet. Rodimus had a guy that was shrinking, but don't know more details than that. I've worked with guys in the past who would do the shrink and make the mold on their dime, if they retained the right to sell copies of the head after that to recoup cost, etc., You might be able to work out a deal that way - |

No. Don't ask Rodimus to do shrinking. |

Thanks J. I'll hold onto the head and sword for now. Perhaps an opportunity will present itself. As I said, I wish John were still on the game. The shrinking he did of Ada was fantastic, and he was the who hooked me up with a proper Leon too. |

Glassman does shrinking: http://glassmancustoms.com/products-pag ... head-cast/ I've never had a cast shrunken by him, but I have purchased several shrunken casts from him and was very happy with their quality. |

Ye I have a project running on Glassman. Still don't know the result. It's a helmet. |
