Not really a customizing question, but here goes.

My terror drome needs to be moved from the room it's currently in and packed away in the basement. I plan to one day restore it since it needs new decals and some broken parts replaced. My question is how has anyone else gone about storing one? I've started searching for a plastic container but haven't had luck finding one large enough.

Maybe get 2 of the kiddie pools like a little swimming pools. One on top one on bottom, and then some supports and then something just to stabilize the entire thing.

If I had to store one for an extended period I'd probably build a crate for it. Get some cheap 1x2s or something and make a frame big enough to surround the 'drome with an extra board or two on the bottom. Then I'd just get some cardboard and cut it down and staple it to the outside of the frame to keep it protected and stackable.

And that's probably a better plan than my current one, so I may need to make a trip to the hardware store . . .

Hypno is dead on with the crate. Before moving I shipped my Drome to an online buddy. I modified a large box and created a crate to fit with scrap wood. Strapping and heavy cardboard.
