I've done several searches but haven't found much here for torso casting. I'm sure you guys can point me in the right direction or help with answers here.
I've made a 2-piece mold for a torso front, but my 3 attempts at casts so far have been epic failures.
The first cast turned out best, but the screw hole area didn't fill in with resin.
The second and third casts didn't get enough resin in the mold, despite resin oozing out all over the place after I filled the mold, and the torso came out paper thin.

Help?

In order to do quality casting consistently, you need to invest in the right materials and tools. You can use the cheaper stuff that sets almost instantly but good luck getting professional results. A pressure pot is essential for the best results. Of course, tools and materials don't mean a thing if you're not able to set up the parts in the mold box so they can be cast effectively.

When I get a chance, I'll take some pictures to show you how I do it using an envelope/one part mold.
