Hey all, I am about to do a bunch of RTV molds and I always have extra rtv that can be poured off into small throw away molds that can get one or two castings. If anyone has a head or small weapon they need one or two of let me know. There may or may not be a cost (usually no more than a couple bucks and shipping costs to get it back). They may not be perfect, but you never know. To let the newer people know, I used to do a ton of castings off of prototypes and we did them is kind of a crowd sourced thing back 15 years ago and called it Project 95. I've gotten better with the castings. I just haven't done a bunch a while so I need to catch up on my personal stuff. Which leaves a lot of room for a bunch a little things that I don't even need Give a shout. Here in thread would be good so others can see what may be needed. Custom parts are always a priority. I remember doing a fun swivel neck O-ring style Dreadnok head like this and it turned out great and you got about a dozen castings off of it for others too. John m. |

One thing I would love to see is the suspenders from the Renegades Tunnel Rat. I've seen a number of customs that use that piece and would love to get a few more of them... |

If you can supply the part, I might be able to try it. However, one stipulation I might need to put on this is that it will need to be cast in hard resin, as I don't work with the pvc type materials that allow for webbing. Things like weapons, heads, packs, etc are much easier to work with, especially since i am likely to work with 1 part molds out of convenience and cost. Are you referencing the shoulder piece (webbing) or the waist piece (folded over suspenders)? |

LOL... well I am offering casting services for people who have stuff that they want copies of.  I don't have enough little bits around to throw rtv over, at least not ones I know people would want. The waist piece would be much harder than the shoulder piece. I've done o-ring waits with no problem, but that part looks much more convoluted. Right now, I am doing a bunch of one part 28mm terrain molds and doing items to make impressions for basing of miniatures. |

still willing to make a mold? I just was thinking about your offer, and the idea of making a mold and some copies of my carcano (lee Harvey Oswald) rifle. it is a cut up modded plastic rifle. This is exactly the type of mod I would be able to help with. It has a couple undercuts but that's workable. |
