I recently picked up several late 80s Punisher comic books and when I started looking through them, I noticed all the ads for the then current video games.

Some of the artwork was quite interesting to see, which got me thinking about customs.

1) Have we done a GP or has anyone done customs based on these now old school video games?

2) Can anyone suggest any video games that had unique artwork?

I would like to compile a list or reference artwork, maybe something that can be added to the wiki as a source of ideas.

So far I've seen:

Laser Invasion
Gun Sight

But that wasn't retro in particular.
Personally I've done Mecha-Hitler from Wolfenstein, Super Mario, Bullet Bill, Zangief and Nightwolf.
Several other characters are in a WIP stage now, but a Retro Game GP would be more than welcome to get those done!
