Does anyone know how to take apart the Night Attack Chopper. I thought the five screws around the rotor assembly would do it, but it seems pretty stuck. |

Well, Thealley, if the NAC has a vertical seam, then there has to be screws holding it together from the right or left side. I haven't looked at one in awhile, but I would suggest looking at the sides. |

Hmm, I've done it, but it has been a while (10 years). I do remember it being challenging, and the gear mechanisms that operate the rotors and firing missiles may be what keeping it together. |

Thanks, guys. It certainly seems to be the case of both obstacles mentioned. I was thinking side screws, but there aren't very many. Gear mechs certainly seem like an obstacle too, for the fact alone that the trigger is on the tail. I guess I'll have to just video the disassemble so I can actually get it back together! ![]() |

I recall the Top "motor" section lifting off...I think there are a bunch of sub sections you have to remove before you can split the main body |

I tried to take one apart to paint once and it was so complicated that I gave up and just masked off what I didn't want painted rather than fight with it any more. |
