Does anyone have any experience changing a canopy's tint?

Clear canopies would be the easiest I would imagine, but what about one that is say blue tinted, is there a way to make it red or would a custom cast be the only option?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure how it would work being applied to an already colored canopy, but I just had this same thought yesterday, after seeing a product that I had not seen before. Went to Walmart yesterday and in the craft section, I came across small bottles of different colors of translucent Mod-Podge. It shows them applied to Ball canning jars, and looks totally awesome. There were several different colors, and it can be used on plastics as well. I plan on trying some on a couple clear canopies that I have, but it will be a while before I can do it.

I can't imagine that changing from red to blue or vice versa would work. But there is only one way to find out.

I've dyed canopies before using rit dye. But that was from red to black

Tamiya clear paints could be used, but you can't make blue red... The best you would get is purple

If it's not tinted very dark now, and you don't mind making it dark, it might work. Years ago I repainted a Classics Megatron, and repainted all of his clear green plastic red. I painted both sides, and it looks fine.
