I had the idea to get ahold of a Chap Mei Submarine, and add some PVC pipe sections so it looks more like the Space Yamato, then paint all silverwhite. Any other ideas? |

Plastic office trash cans with Joe jet fins, a Skywalker T-16, and a few SLAMs. Pretty big undertaking for sure. |

I was thinking to scale-warp her down to 'light corvette' class, about the size of the Falcon IRL. |

I saw a large plastic golf club tote that would make an amazing spaceship. It was a bit large, and it was a few years back. |

What about one of those plastic wrapping paper storage containers that comes out after Christmas as the base? Could be easy to add mods to and paint. |

Dang it, I can't get the right pic to link. I'm wanting to do her in the old Simonson style. The Chap Mei Sub would be a good start, imho. Scale her down to a manageable size. The Sub gives him a few rooms to move about in. Affix a few PVC pipe sections and some ensmallened turret guns from a model kit, and I think it's doable, like the concept toy for the old Rebel Blockade Runner from ANH. |
