I'm not sure where I picked this book up, or even where it is right now, but I remember reading this several times in my youth.

I'm mot sure what pieces or parts to get together to even start this.

LEGO hoses with paperclips/wire inserted for support could work for the arms and legs too.

Fugitoid from the TMNT line would be good for the arms. The hands and boots can be popped off giving a little more length.
