i'm really just passing some time trying my hand at this. purple rain destro has really stuck with me, and i thought he deserved a piece of filecard art :)
i started with a pencil sketch, about 5 times!
then ink outline

digitally enhanced
Image

i will be going back in with white paint and then probably black ink again on the drawing. i will also work some on the digital version as time allows.

Good start, thus far! I would like to do some similar things in Photoshop, but I think I need to get a bigger Wacom. The one I have is just too small for the screen resolution I have. I didn't know any better when I bought it :)
