I just started to work with some of these 50th figures and has anyone else noticed they seem to a little less stable in the knees? The figure I'm working with is Flint. Those are some wobbly knees.

Yeah, they used a PVC for the knees on the 50th stuff instead of the nylon they were using (and still do for the other joints). It's probably easier to color match, and process, and they don't have to worry about breakage like they would if they switched the elbows or shoulders, but it's still a bummer. Plastic quality is lower overall on the 50th stuff unfortunately.

The lower legs almost ruined a killer Destro sculpt for me.

So it's the knees. I guess I'm gonna be using pre 50th knees on my customs.

He's the figure I mostly bought that set for and the plastic he's made of feels like a bad cheap knock-off.

I was really excited toget mine as well. But agree that the knee material is too soft.

Nope. V.1 25th Destro had single joint knees. You could swap out the entire lower leg but they won't match up in either proportion or color.

I swapped out the legs for ninja dojo Roadblock legs, looks better in my opinion.

I used a extra set of knees from a 25th Quick.

That looks good. However Quick Kick is tough to come by. :(

I've been told destroy iron Grenadier figure is a good leg swap and matches well.
