Hey guys,

I have the Elder Scrolls Alduin and his dragon word wall, which is a fairly typical molded piece with some detailing here and there, with a draft of less than a square foot. I was wondering about the possibility of having it vacuformed, since these word walls are littered all over Skyrim, from the mountains to the deep caves to the glades and so forth. Ideally, since I have the main one for mountain tops, I was entertaining the thought of making/taking one and turning it into the ones that Hagravens take over, which is littered with bones, skulls, blood markings, and their cast off feathers and the taproots of Spriggans. The other one I thought would be good to do covered in greens and moss for deep wooded areas. My questions are:

How detailed can a vacuformed piece really get? These world walls have dragon language markings recessed into the wall face. Would it pick these up as well? Wouldn't be crucial, as I could carve them back into a flat base, but just wondering?

How thick is the plastic of the form? Is it durable enough to be set into/onto let's say a masonite base? Or a foamboard/corkboard (the new ones seen recently) base?

Lastly, where could one go to have something like this done? Approximate costs of such a small run of two word walls and the like? I admit freely that I have no idea about such things these days.

The other question would be about something I don't own, but thought would be killer, is if someone had the Playmobil or Lego Viking ship base, and what it would be like to vacuform the ship without masts turned upside down of course to get a basic hull in an admirable size. Would make a really great base for fans of Vikings or Beowulf customs.
