ideally ones with sleeves to resemble a plain jacket or at least a shirt with cuffs.

That mostly rules out Techno-Viper. I also had some vehicle driver with a mostly purple version of the Wild Bill body, but the joints are more blue than purple.

Any thoughts? Can be Star Wars even, so long as it has modern artic.

What about that new Wonder Man figure that's showing up in the Marvel section?

EDIT:

Avengers Infinite Wonder Man.

thanks DJ. I actually considered that, but it might be a last resort, as I'm hoping for something that resembles jacket sleeves.

I know it's probably a pipe dream. I think I have some alternatives in mind, that are maybe navy or black but that I can blend in better with the purple than what I'm using now.

I hate painting shoulder joints.

When I think purple, I think the Joker in a suit.

At the least that can get mentioned and crossed off the list.

actually, wow. One of my Bespin Han Solo figs is remarkable dark purple.

Joker in a suit you say?

I'm not aware of any Joker figures with the artic I want in this scale.

I was going with figures with purple arms. Since it doesn't fit the arctic requirement, it can be crossed off since it has been addressed. :D

not arctic. modern artic. - articulation.

;)

But nevertheless, I did want a jacket sleeves look. The Han I found works surprisingly well and I've already made the swap I wanted.

Thanks for the input

Here I was going to suggest SW Prince Xizor, since the arms are fairly purple, but looks like you got it covered with the Bespin Han.

25A Para-Viper has just what you need. At least up top.

The club's upcoming Arctic Mindbender would probably work if you don't mind waiting a couple of months.

Is that the one that uses the WB body? If so, the joints themselves were very blue on mine.

Either way, I should be good now.

I'll do some crazy "LASER BLAST" when I need to finish a custom. But I'm not sure about $30 arms. Although that figure in it's entirety is a nice looking figure.

Hit up Rodimus, if you can wait a bit. He can probably get you the suit arms from one of his suited figure kits. Or look at the Joe style arms he has. The Shock Trooper arms in his store can be modded to remove the elbow pads and the upper arm pockets sanded off.
