Does anyone know how to take apart the Night Attack Chopper. I thought the five screws around the rotor assembly would do it, but it seems pretty stuck.

Well, Thealley, if the NAC has a vertical seam, then there has to be screws holding it together from the right or left side.

I haven't looked at one in awhile, but I would suggest looking at the sides.

Hmm, I've done it, but it has been a while (10 years). I do remember it being challenging, and the gear mechanisms that operate the rotors and firing missiles may be what keeping it together.

Thanks, guys. It certainly seems to be the case of both obstacles mentioned. I was thinking side screws, but there aren't very many. Gear mechs certainly seem like an obstacle too, for the fact alone that the trigger is on the tail. I guess I'll have to just video the disassemble so I can actually get it back together! :)

I recall the Top "motor" section lifting off...I think there are a bunch of sub sections you have to remove before you can split the main body

I tried to take one apart to paint once and it was so complicated that I gave up and just masked off what I didn't want painted rather than fight with it any more.
