First up is an update to a newsculpt custom I made of a newsculpt repaint. Tiger Claw will keep the gray and orange colors but I'm thinking a huge tiger claw scratch tattoo across his chestImage

These guys are some o-ring conversions of some great Chap Mei figures. I'm thinking they are the Arctic explorers of the evil Killington Expedition

Scored some cheapish Chitauri figures on Ebay and finally some Geonosian donors for wings. Butchered some other donor figures to give them elbow and knee joints so now Golobulus can finally have more than one Royal Guard.

Original character Hotline will get painted one day. That's been together for about 5 years.

Horrorshow is ready for paint, Random Scottish guy needs characterization and purpose, and Mumm-ra needs better soft goods robes and bandages.Image

Random pirate needs a backstory.
Vance Wingfield has been a WIP forever.
M. Bison needs paint and the cape reattached.
Recondo needs a hat.

Harley Quinn got better articulated arms and now needs painting. Probably will be a new character.
Other lady has no backstory bu I like the head better than Cover Girl.Image

This is my plan for SKAR. Still want to find another hooded head to replace that Chap Mei skull.

great stuff! the robo joe is really interesting .i like how you bash in better bits to those chap mei figures and the corpse guy in your random dudes.

for your pirate how about backsun, or backsoon? after watching the winnie the poo movie 150 times with the youngins they get programmed in. of course then a huffalump would make lots of since, not to mention human poo crew.

I didn't post this as a WIP because it was supposed to be a quick repaint. I planned on covering the yellow "x" design with the wine color but then I noticed the gold piping needed touching up. Then my hand got shaky and I needed to hit the black. Then I thought the x was a weird design. And then maybe a wash to bring out the detail in the fur.

The Guardians are an odd group of intergalactic bounty hunters that have decided their fortune lies in apprehending the ever growing Lunartix gang. They are in constant pursuit of the escaped criminals and are never far behind. The damages they leave behind are far worse than letting the Lunartix run rampant.

Up until now, this group was thrown together of figures that had close color schemes. I'm working out back stories for each character but I can assure you, they are not Marvel guys. These are the lbc-EST of lbcs.

Still not quarantined but I've been trying to get these guys done this week. I added elbow and knee articulation to the Chitauri figures and then painted to match. As I was rounding up Geonosian wings on Ebay, I had no idea that none of the ones I bought were mounted the same and we all different sculpts. I like it though and I can make it work story wise. I've had one of these done since the Chitauri were on store shelves, the other three are were completed this week.

My Cobra La story is an off shoot of Mindbender's Island and they are mutations with a belief that they are a higher evolutionary species. Led by Golobulus, he speaks of overthrowing those lesser humans after he has grown the citizens of Cobra La. He has surrounded himself with The Nemesis Immortal, raised from the dead and reanimated by the earth. Pythona, the hand of Golobulus. When he speaks, she acts, never questioning. And now he has discovered the ability to clone and birthed his hive of protectors, The Royal Guard. They swarm to protect and will gladly sacrifice themselves for the protection of Lord Golobulus.
