Destro v5 Cobra Command

So scrounging thru my spare parts and decided this had to be made...

Its mostly a modern Destro with a modern IG Destro legs and painted up.

While the original v5 doesn't include Destro's trademark wrist rockets and grenades I felt it added more to leave them in my interpretation than remove them. I also added the shoulder pads from the ninja harness to make it look more like v5.

The shoulder pads are a great addition! Would love to see this in the original V3 colors.

Love it! Agreed that the shoulder pads make a big difference. The 50th head would work on it too, but the 25th one is nice and chromy.

Its crazy how sometimes one thing ties it all together.

Frankly I think most Destro figures would look better with those pads.

And I might try v3 (which is the same as v1 colors) with those pads at some point. v3 just to make another figure we don't have in modern.

I mean the only O-Ring Destro's we don't have are...

Destro [v003a] --- Super Wide Lapels
Destro [v004a] --- Armor Tech
Destro [v008a] --- JvsC (red)
Destro [v009a] --- JvsC (blue II)
Destro [v010a] --- Spy Troops
Destro [v011a] --- VvsV
Destro [v013a] --- M.A.R.S. Invades

Frankly v9 is similar to v7.
v6 and v12 are similar to v5 (12 has white gloves but otherwise the same)

And long ago I made a version of the M.A.R.S. Invades...

So might knock that easy v3 out.

I love this so much I got inspired, started piecing a figure together with a slightly different goal. what are the "ninja" shoulder pads from? I looked through my stuff and nothing close to those.

Nice job recreating the '97 version. Agreed on all comments about the shoulder pads.

I actually am not 100% sure.

I know they were on FSS Dice and a few other figures but I did not take them off of Dice for sure they were solid black no silver.
