From 1994, GI Joe himself, Joe Colton:

There have been several 1:18 Joe Colton figures. This includes the '94 ARAH, the '06 New Sculpt, the Retaliation Modern Era, and the recent GI Joe Collector's Club Modern Era.

The '94 design showing Colton in his mid-forties is the centerpiece, which ended up looking like a Richard Crenna/John Wayne facial mixture. It's basically that figure, but with stubble and a few more years. Mid-life Colton is bookended by his young Vietnam era dress uniform self on the left, and his post-military/suit-wearing old man (but still a government agent) self on the right. I skipped the NS version entirely as it's too close thematically to the ARAH verison. I skipped the movie version because I'm excluding the movie characters from this project (at the moment anyway).

There's age/trait progression with each version, too. The skin tone of Old Man Colton has become somewhat grey. Young Colton is clean shaven; mid-life Colton has stubble; Old Man Colton has a frazzled beard (but a magically preserved hairline). Old Man Colton is still very fit, but has a little more weight in his legs and a narrower chest than Young Colton. He perhaps looks a bit like The Most Interesting Man in the World.
