after buying the clearance 2 packs of corps for the ladies I figured I would throw the guys up on ebay. then I thought well maybe some head swaps would make them more desirable . now with some new gear I kind of like these!

those bodies look way more useful than I'd have expected them to. Nicely done.

thanks drb. I was hesitant at first to put these in crit section instead of just post to the corps thred. when I started editing pictures I started liking the red skulls. if that body had better construction I would buy as many as I could get for the $ .50 I paid for these. the diver team is less appealing to me.

I was back and forth on the diver team leader, but I went with the higher setting head to fit a jet pack. I see them as a sky diving team with 2 divers and 2 ground support guys.

Not bad AT ALL. I have always found the Ogre and Diesel figures to be good custom fodder in theory . With a little work converting the t crotch to hinge swivel (or ball) these figures are really solid. Even without that modification at $1 or less per they are really good.

Believe it or not I think the diver figures look like a better base than the bomb disposal body . A very fair army builder

I went back to that same Walmart Friday and they were all gone. I don't think they sold them, so off to some 3rd party retailer? or worse!

Came out great. I am going to kinda steal it. I hate that collar but I have a bunch now. LOL

They are already in colors that work for Red Shadow army builders and they already have a skull on them. I am thinking about calling them something like Shock Shadows.

they kind of build themselves. just pull out your head box and see what looks good. every head except dr. red was in my "not useful" heads ....

Yeah I plan on painting plague heads red with black trim and putting it on them.

I did something similar with some of my Ogre figures. Whenever I get moved into my new/old house ( new to me but built in 1908. I gotta remodel it) I will have to dig my figures out and post pics of them.

Nix that. Going to use Reapers head. It will make for the easiest adaptation of that head and work great with only minor painting required.

The Darth Maul head is sooooo iconic that it's begging to be painted or something.

But it's amazing how well these bodies work as generic team uniform with new heads added. Saphire Redd works flawlessly with the helmet head.

thanks! I just had so many dm heads and the colors matched so I went with it. I haven't even seen that sw movie, or I blocked it out of my memory

my 2nd round of headswaps has young dr. redd ,uncle redd, and a new helmeted sapphire. the 2nd "demon" is the same dm head as I figured demons don't age lol
