long time since i messed with this project. i hit a big problem in that super glue fogged my canopy. and of course the dial soap bottles have changed shape ...so i was kind of lost.

finally i just went to several stores and found a similar shaped bottle. it is almost the same shape and since i am now planning it to open can be much larger.

Ok, now that is coming along nicely. You even have room now to stretch the cockpit down and fit a full ejection seat in there.

waiting on a fodder lot to arrive before i nail down the cockpit length.i want all size/era joes to fit.

I ain't gonna lie... I almost quit looking at this thread when I saw that horrific front gun you were using originally. The rest seemed of a much higher quality. But boy am I glad I kept going through the thread. I totally approve of the new gun as well as everything else I see now. VERY NICE WORK! Even more so when you consider that it is wholly scratch built!

thanks Fettmeister! i totally agree that the first gun is laughable. as my first vehicle build it has been a huge learning curve. i'm not sure i love any other jet enough to attempt a scratch build.

My all time fave is the F 117a Stealth. I may someday attempt such a thing.
