#41 Gung Ho

A great 1983 character, here is Gung Ho. This is the '83 version with some additional elements from later versions of the character, especially gear of the New Sculpt era figures. Aside from the camo on the pants, the light turquoise color of the original figure has been replaced with greens.

This is another illustration that uses heavy pencilling in lieu of inks.

one of my favorite figures as a kid. you really kept it in the same over all feel of the og character while improving all the details! the og figure, like all old 80's joes was scrawny,over correcting a bit the modern figures are huge. this art is just the right proportions :)

I wasn't sure if it would read right without the Marine Corps tattoo on the chest, but it sounds like it's meeting w/approval!
