I picked up 6 of these "Hanging Organizer Trays" after work at Dollar Tree for $1.25 each as I immediately recognized their diorama potential.

They will make for great sci-fi hallway walls with some modifications (greebles, repaint, etc.) although making hallway corners corners will require some more advanced fabrication techniques as the ends do not have shapes conductive to cornering. They can even be doubled up to make taller walls with some glue and reinforcements on the reverse sides.

The open organizer trays can either be sealed off completely and turned into consoles or sealed off internally at different depths depending on how you want to utilize them.

I think they have great potential for inexpensive diorama material.

Got my Classified Cobra Officer today from BBTS (because Gamestop canceled mine) - still waiting on my Spirit/Stormy from GS, the jerks. That'll teach me for trying to save a buck - since for ONCE, BBTS got their shipment before other stores. :verymad:

I didn't see this message until now, sorry. I will measure them after work and get back to you.

Yesterday I got the two Star Wars TVC Shoretrooper 4-packs I ordered from HasbroPulse. They are nice but the paint on the helmet visors is sloppy. I can touch it up. They have the hinge-disc hips with the peg going up into the crotch instead of horizontal. But they have a thigh swivel right below that and the joints all move nicely. While it takes a few more moves to get them posed they work. Now I'm wishing I'd gotten one of those Rogue One Hovertanks when they were on deep discount. It would make a great troop carrier for these guys.

Went to Target at lunch and snagged a Skelegod and Faker each under $9. They also had the Batman single carded movie figs for $2.69.

Now if they would only clearance the Tri-Klops & Trap-Jaw figs so I don't have to drop $30/each for "bonus" accessories I'll never use.

Can you alternate every other one as facing forward and facing backward to get a better connection between each section? I assume the back has the same slots, but without the holders?

Thanks to The Spectre's post I stopped by the Dollar Tree today. None of those wall hangers but I did find this neat little collapsible basket that I think could make a neat dungeon prison.

I also picked up a few adhesive mosaic wall tiles that I think will make good backgrounds
