I see TMNT animated blind bags at Target and Toys R Us.

Target just cleared out their TMNT movie Mega Bloks for dirt-cheap (about $1.48), and Toys R Us runs sales on Mega Bloks at least once a month, and a variety at that. They were clearancing their TMNT product (movie & all others), but they also do a lot of Buy One, Get One 40% Off with Call of Duty and HALO.

Totally random, but related:

Saw LEGO Batman this weekend with my nephew. Anybody else catch the Mega Construx commercial before the movie? Really glad to see Mattel believing in and investing in the brand.

They are still making new blind bags for the animated TMNT line. I think they are on wave 4 now? Managed to get Tiger Claw and Baxter Fly from that set

Mattel is now adding Mega Construx building bricks to Hot Wheels product (select) . I believe the bricks are part of the build able race track.

They are definitely pushing the brand .

Did anyone else see the pictures of the Build Beyond display Mega had this year at Toy Fair? Probably some of their best stuff that I've seen.
Below is a link to the pictures on Facebook

From what I've seen so far only Halo, Destiny, Call of Duty and Pokemon have been shown and/or reported on.

Yeah the Build Beyond is pretty much the only thing I've seen thus far and it looks really good. The Beyond Space set looks great.

Don't do what I did Saturday when I first saw those and got all excited....these haven't been officially announced as sets and could end up being a really nice display piece they did for shows.
It would be a shame if that happened as these have potential to be some really great generic sets that remind me of the old Adventure People line from Fisher-Price.
It may just be me but the robot helpers look to be new (or customized) parts and the CX logo on the space vehicles is either a new printed piece or a sticker on the piece (hard to tell from what I saw).
I would love to see Mega at least put out some in house Space and Ocean Exploration sets and save me the trouble of having to custom build a home/city for my Micronauts.

Update:
Found this YouTube video on another forum that gives some more shots of the overall build and the widest shots of the Space scene I've seen so far. It's also nice to hear the kids getting excited about the things they see in the overall build. Hopefully Mega will realize that they are on to something here that will excite kids and since this theme isn't based on "violent" video games parents are more likely to buy it for their kids.

I'd fully support a Beyond line. The # of unique heads on the figures shown alone makes this worthy of support. The robots were the first thing u noticed . They are customized destiny figures or at least use the same base body with minor modifications .

Do you recognize the astronaut helmets from the space diorama? Some are clearly the call of duty astronaut heads while the others look. ..new.

I picked up two of the Terminator Genysis Time Machine sets today.

Thought the computers might be something usable, and will probably not need the rest of it.

At first I thought the robots were modified Destiny figures but then I zoomed in on the one by the beach in the Hovertrain picture (see below). The head could be a modified Destiny head but I'm not aware of any with side vents like this one has. The torso could be a new Brute torso but the armor on it would have to be pretty well modified to fit like it does. The arms and legs look new though (or at least I don't recognize the parts). Notice the sculpting around the knee joint and the way the calf looks to have a cuff above the ankle. These could be modified parts much like the calves on the guy sitting next to the robot (looks like lower legs from a Call of Duty figure where the pants have been smoothed out to look like a bare leg instead).

Unfortunately rumors are starting to spread on the Facebook Mega Bloks groups that these awesome sets are just for display only and will not be a new line. I haven't seen any official comment from Mega yet to confirm that.
Personally I think it would be a big mistake on Mega's part to not make some generic sets like these but they at least have given me some ideas. Unfortunately for Mega I'll need to use Lego bricks to get the quantity of colors, shapes and sizes I'll need.

Wish Mattel wasn't so cage-y about what Build Beyond actually is.

From the response they're getting, it looks like people really like them and there's a lot of interest around if it's getting released and when it'll be. Wondering if that was the plan all along, to gauge interest.

I wouldn't get disheartened at all, actually, if MOTU/Hellboy Mega Construx never made an appearance. I'm sure there are a lot of surprises for collectors at the end of 2017. A lot of that stuff isn't shown at TF.

Very surprised pop culture stuff wasn't bigger in their booth this year, though.
