Hey guys, just saw over at Cobra Island that the Club has posted some new pics of the Duke & Red Star comic pack.

Click on the mugshots at the bottom to see the new pics.

And what really *&^$%# me off is Red Star's arms. In the original pic, which was most likely a prototype, the wrists swivel at the cuffs, like they should. But in the new pics, which are probably the production finals (though I hope not) the wrists swivel at a random point along the lower arm like those accursed Duke arms! What is up with that?!?!? :verymad:

The only language Hasbro understands is $. I say, let us boycott all figures using those Duke arms. If we don't buy 'em, they'll stop using 'em!

Yeah, I know I'm dreaming but is it wrong to dream of quality figures?

My only major complaint is that th holster on Red Stars hip looks frigg'n huge but aside from that this set is pretty cool. Check out Dukes binoculars on a strap, thats bad ass.

But aside from Flint I really like the Duke arms. I use to spend a good bit of time looking for RAH figures with pushed up sleves, but the 25th Duke arms have made that relly easy for me.

I think Red Star's awesome.

Duke's elbows don't bug me as much as the hands. Those hands won't hold anything.

That said, Red Star has so many accessories that I can't imagine passing him up. Canteen strapped to his webgear, nifty hat, rifle with detachable ammo drum, satchel, revolver. Nice.

Duke looks great, too.

The thing I hate on Red star is the legs, the arms are better than in the wrists where I can't help but think they stick out too much, Not jonesing that Duke though.

I love Redstar.
Along with the Indiana Jones Russian troops.

Wow RedStar likes antique weapons.

the arms bug me too. Every set of duke arms i have separate badly at that joint, changing it on RedStar is ridiculous, I wonder if Hasbro is just going to blame the factory again.


Dukes binoculars are cool and his body would make a good grunt, I wonder where he buys his flesh colored gloves? Or does he sew him self out of the skin of fallen enemies? Man Duke is hardcore.

Plus the fact that the rifle he has is the PPSh-41, the actual weapon of Stormavik!!! To my knowledge, it's a 1:18 first!!!

Oddly enough, the Russian soldiers from the new Indy line do not carry this rifle, so there is a chance it was sculpted for this Comic Pack!!! 8-O If so it is a direct nod to Oktober Guard fans, as Stormavik's rifle has never been accurately made before...
