I don't know how common this might be, but those of you looking to do a little army-building might want to have a look at your local ROSS store if you have one. I was at one yesterday and they had a couple of G.I. Joe two-packs. They had the Zombie-Vipers two-pack, and the Iron Grenadier/Cobra Viper two-pack, from the 50th Anniversary line. $9.99 for each two-pack. I don't get into that particular Ross all that often, but I do so occasionally, and they weren't there the last time! Just a friendly "heads-up". |

yes those were the same ones showing up in summer I haven't been back to my Rosses yet I really don't want to go there since every Xmas their toy department is like a bomb went off |

No Joes at the new Ross by me, but did get a Mega Blocks P51. Really hope the Joes show up again - I only found one three pack in Flagstaff months ago. |

Tsunami -- I'm impressed! Goldbug -- You're entirely correct about most Ross toy departments, especially at this time of year. However, eerily, another one that I stopped into recently, and I mean post-Thanksgiving, was very neat and well-ordered. Somehow, it just didn't look right. Morian Miner -- You're still ahead of any "recent" spottings I've had. They're long gone from Toys "R" Us, and I drop in on a couple of Ross stores semi-regularly, and this was the first I'd seen of them since the last of the ones from TRU vanished. Arguably, I wouldn't mind having Shooter, but the modern figures have never been all that much of a priority for me. I still found it interesting to see them at Ross like this. |

Got a Viper/IG and Heavy Duty/Stiletto pack tonight at my local one. Any fix for my Joe-in-stores withdrawl symptoms is a good thing. Since I live in the "boonies", nice to finally have a Ross within 10 minutes of my house (just opened a couple months ago). |
