I checked the Westfield Comics catalog which I typically order from, and I was surprised that there was no listing for a new issue of G.I. JOE - A REAL AMERICAN HERO.

With the end of the Convention and such, I hope that Hasbro isn't scrapping the comic, or that will really be the last vestige of the Real American Hero gone. :-(

Can anyone confirm this with Mr. Hama on Facebook?

Hopefully, there's nothing to confirm. IDW might just have fallen behind. But it'd be worth knowing.

Oh, lordy, I should've gotten that one. I'd go beat my head against a wall, but I might injure myself, and the apartment complex has lost water service for several hours, so there'd be no way to clean the wound.

Still, I should've gotten that one.

Let's hope there's nothing to worry about regarding the comic.

I checked IDW's Web Site, and it shows a G.I. Joe #230. The last issue I ordered was #229.

So, on the one hand, that's a hopeful sign. On the other hand, #230 starts an entirely new story arc. If for some reason Hasbro wanted the title axed, that'd be the time to do it. I am NOT saying that they are. Hopefully they're just skipping a month for some reason.

Okay, I rechecked the Westfield Site, and #230 was available for order. I honestly don't know how I missed it the first time, but it turned up on a specific search. So, there's no reason to assume the title is in any danger, especially since #230 kicks off a new storyline.

Mea culpa.

Its in their latest solicitations and seems to be doing well enough. No need to panic.
