These are an old concept being dusted off again.

The Alpha Blanx figure came out back in 2004 or so if I recall correctly. These look REALLY dated next to the HACKS blanks.

Huh, I actually like quite a bit of what I see on this KS, but the way he's got the Unlocks ordered means it's a non-issue for me and likely everyone else. Simply nobody really cares about the dudes because of all the MU Cmdr Rogers/Jim Lee Cyke/Adam Warlock bucks we've likely got and the aforementioned HACKS we're all about to be drowning in. If he'd put the big bruiser and the dwarf up front as well as the head sets this might succeed, but front-loading with the dude is just putting a wall up for everything else good, imho.

Also, I am dead sick and tired of the stupid 'hands bent inwards' look. It looks good for a statue frozen in a single moment, but it's wholly worthless for an action figure meant to represent a character through-out his entire day.

The huge shoulder balls (as well as other odd proportions) totally make me think of the new sculpt era Joes. That's not a good thing...

yeah I had no interest in these before because they just didn't look good at all, they haven't even updated them at all.

I'm kinda interested in the one with clothes and the female figure, but beyond that it's a hard pass. I picked up a couple of the old Alphas a few years ago but I never did anything with them. Plus one of the knees basically shattered on mine after just a little bit of handling.

Can you just pledge for dwarves? That would be outstanding. Do a Dwarf army.
