I know we've got some Stargate fans on here so I thought I'd ask. For the past few years, I've been rounding up bits of stuff here and there to make some proper SG1 customs. I have a set of heads I want to use for figures, and the other day I ran across this. http://www.amazon.com/Large-Copper-Star ... A729H0E6SC Most of the Stargates I see out there seem way too small with Joe figures to be believable, and short of making one myself, I thought I'd give this one a shot. At nearly 12'' in diameter, it seems like it would look pretty good with Joes. Does anyone else have one of these? |

That looks like it is a cast of the build a gate from tthe TV toyline (if you look closely at one of the pics you can see the line where the pieces connect). I have the original this is cast from (I have 2 actually) and it looks great with 4" figures.

Yeah, the scale from the 6" - 7" (?) figures is perfect for the 1/18th scale. If this is the same size, then I would say that it is also perfect. |

I finally was able to track down a gate and ramp for a decent price and got the wormhole and closed iris from ebay to complete my set-up.

That looks fantastic! I've just gotten back into SG1 and the wheels are starting to turn. Are there any more sets from that eBay seller? |

NICE piece, slim19722. I remember Hasbro's Stargate line used a modified AWE-Striker, since the figures were slightly larger. What I liked were the alien fighter craft. I bought three of them and assigned them to the Lunartix, even though it's impossible to get Lobotomaxx to sit in one of them. |

Is anyone still doing casts of the Stargate? Tracking down those Diamond Select pieces looks painful (and expensive)! |
