| Post subject: | Regional Meet frequency and numbers? |
I'm sincerely interested in other people's experiences with their regional meet ups. According to nova the Joehio guys meet once a month and have like 20-30 people at any given meet. We did a Northern California JC meet once and got close to a dozen people, just couldn't keep it going. The second Slayer Con had about two dozen maybe 3 dozen, but most of them not from the area. So what is you're typical meet experience? How often and how many? Outside of Joe Conventions or toy shows, I've never been to a regional meet with a lot of people and certainly not one that lasted more than once or twice. |

At the Colorado meets we've been having we have been averaging 4 or 5 at the most 6... You get a lot of people saying " WE SO WANT TO MEET OTHER COLLECTORS IN THE AREA" but yet when we plan these things out even a month or more in advance just the usual people show up...

We've had 3-4 Battleforce New England get togethers, with another scheduled on February 22nd. Around 12-20 people attend. |

We had 1 in NJ 4 years back and maybe 10 people showed up. |

I was expecting about 18-20 people who responded that they were coming. Half were no shows. The only three that represented Joe Customs were Spectre, Bcost and myself. Everyone else hailed from the Tri-State Vipers. I have been pondering the idea of resurrecting it. |
