I don't know if anyone remembers the last snow day when I took the Fridge out to go sking and snow boarding with my daughter.

Well, the one thing I learned is that the figures do a pretty bad job of staying on their feet. They can sled like an 8 year old on a greased toboggan, but not so well when standing.

Last night I'm in Target looking for driveway salt and I happened down the winter sports section. Right by the sleds they had these limited articulation 1:18 scale figures with an oversized snowboard. For $9.99 it was steep, but that would be a couple of hours of entertainment for the kid, oh and my daughter too. :shifty:

The figure it comes with is 95% static. Hinge and swivel arms and a swivel head. A nice removable ski helmet that sort of reminds me of Wild Boar's. Both ARAH and Modern figures fit but wider boots will hold better.

Really though, this one is all about the play feature. Too cold for snow last night so the cardboard box will have to do. Out of 10 tries, the figures stuck the landing for half of them.

I saw these at Target and wondered about if the parts might be usable for ARAH and ME figures.

How are these assembled?

Torso and legs are either one solid piece or glued together under the jacket. I can't quite tell. Not hollow so every would need to be boiled and popped.

Correction, pretty well hidden hinge/swivel torso joint above the waist. That gives the upper torso some serious custom potential.
