Man, I have not logged in in years...

There are some 30th/POC I'd rather have than what we're getting, but I don't know which figures I'd bump to get 'em. I'd love to have Lifeline, Airtight, or a FIXED Recondo, but other than Heavy Duty and Duke, I'm not really underwhelmed by any of the offerings. I mean, no I don't need another Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow pack, and we just had an Iron Grenadier last year, and the same Viper 2 years ago, but you are never going to have a wave full of fan-demanded figures.

I was grateful 2 years ago for Lowlight. Gung-Ho is a near perfect masterpiece (though it took me until April to find one in the wild). I love having any retail figures at all. But I'm still sore from the lack of the 5th MASS Device piece (when everything ELSE from that pack has been rereleased) and being unable to find Lifeline at retail years ago. I give this wave...7/10

You never liked the Helix torso???

personally no. I see people use it ALOT on customs and know its popular but I never liked it. it looks like some cheesy steampunk feux goth corset to me. it looks like a cosplay outfit. and it looks like something that shouldn't be used on multiple characters to me, the type of thing that should be one persons look.
the legs are ok, I just don't like pointless straps wrapped around the leg. if they actually had a sheath or holster it wouldn't bug me.

am I the only one that doesn't like that stilleto headsculpt?

It's only the 2nd time Hasbro is using it. I'm sure they heard the fans that were clamoring for its re-release.

No, I'm not a huge fan of the Stiletto headsculpt either. Too pointy (and on the smallish side). The early shots looked a lot better, though.

Yeah the Stiletto headsculpt looks a bit small, even in person. It reminded me of the new sculpt Scarlett, the one with the big shoulders and small head. I think if they upped the size about 10% it would look better. The sculpt itself looks good, its just the size that I think is a problem.

I'll skip the armybuilders as 1) I have plenty of POC/30th Vipers and 2) as much as I love IGs, that 25th formula is really dated. The Zombie Vipers do nothing for me (other than the "high-five" shot from the presentation) and I have enough from the con set a couple years ago. But I know zombies "are the "LASER BLAST"" so I know folks will be clamoring for them and for that I'm glad. Not everything has to be just for me.

I think I'll stick to the Cobra Officer 3-pack just to get that cool lady officer, and I'm in for the Duke/Tombstone, Heavy Duty/Stiletto and Outback/Shooter packs.

Hmmm -- now I'm concerned about Stiletto, but I'll reserve judgment until I see the figure in person. Does the head really look that small? I've only seen a couple of pics, and it didn't look that bad to me. Maybe a pic is being referenced here that I've missed.

Mysterious Stranger's "shopping list" is pretty much identical to mine, although I also want the B.A.T.

All of the new female heads look small. I'm hoping that is a preproduction issue that will be corrected on final samples and not someone who forgot to account from shrinkage once the plastic is removed form the mold. Keep in mind most of the modern era stuff is sculpted at 104% because of it.

There are a few things I'm bummed about: nothing from the concept case, such as Rock N Roll. No vehicles, though I have no space for them, so I don't know why. Outback not being an "ultimate" take on the version one. Stiletto's head still not looking great.

I like SAW Viper and hope that he is that bright when released. I can finally own the Renegades Storm Shadow. Female Officer is cool. Can't wait for Shooter.

I'm not a big fan of the new female torso mold, the more that I look at it. It reminds me of the early female MU torsos. I guess it's good for customizing since it will be easy to sculpt onto, but as is, it's super plain and the arms look too big on it.

Yeah, it's easy to see BossFight no longer work for Hasbro, imho.

the shooter/female cobra torso is just too smooth, it needs some slight sign of folds in the cloth, or body definition under the cloth. but I guess real women don't have definition.

Yeah, the new female trooper torso seems more like a "blank" torso to me.
Not sure about the legs either.

I'm glad to get another crack at some of the tougher to get figures from the last few series, especially SE54 & the Zombies. It'll be nice to get some reasonable priced fodder.
But I'd love to see re-releases of tougher to get vehicles like the ever popular Stinger, Wolf Hound/Snow Cat and Doom Cycle.

Reasonably price fodder sounds great. I like the HACKs and MTF, but they are a little rich for my blood to use just for fodder. Not that I don't think they are worth the price. Just a little pricey for me to be cutting up. These joes however you know will be marked down eventually.

I think the Shooter torso might be deliberately plain because they want her to look like an extension of the Original 13.

You can do that and still have some fabric folds. All of the other modern style O13 have.
