You might be the first person I've heard who's said that...

And now I can't really say it anymore, after seeing how they changed it.

Now it looks like Cobra sent its snipers to the Bazooka school of "just shoot me" fashion.

I agree I liked the picture and colors of the NV from the first page. These packaged pics have me rethinking if I am going to bother with that set.

Yeah, I agree, the red on black was better than black on red. But, it still looks like a good figure.

A lot of people say that, but I still think it's one of the best figures released in the last few years. I love this Night Viper.

EE just emailed me, saying that they won't carry the 50th Anniversary line as "they are exclusive to another retail channel."
So its BBTS or TRU it looks like

Not unexpected. Generally these "shared exclusives" have been shared just between 2 parties from what I remember. I'm just hoping BBTS can get some more vehicle sets in on pre-order. The thrill of the hunt lost it's thrill a long time ago. I much prefer the thrill of the home delivery.

My order is processing as well.

Noted author James "Kuukuuson" Kavanaugh posted a pic in the Gi Joe Discussion group on Facebook of the weapons footlocker that came with the Danger at the Docks set. Roadpig's crossbow was the one that immediately jumped out at me.

In my pile of loot! Waiting for Hasbro to send the vehicles...and the next Marvel Infinite wave...and ML Stryfe. Then I can have them sent.

I'm just waiting on the WOLF set. Everything else I preordered is in my Pile O' Loot. The wife wasn't happy about that charge hitting right after all our SDCC spending but my birthday is coming up so I'm calling this stuff my present.

Kickass.

I really hope the retail version also has the same weapons!

Sounds like the weapons are gang-molded, so the retail package should include the full load out.
