I never realized in all these years of toy collecting how frustrating actually working on the lines must be. because im already sort of feeling like its time for this to be over and move on to the next theme. when I use to hear how long in advance Hasbro was planning the years waves for star wars I thought it was crazy, but yeah this is taking forever and boss fight were planning and designing for who knows how long before I ever knew about the project.

Meh, this is still pretty on-track for an average turnaround time for a KS toyline, ain't it? Ya gotta learn the wisdom of lowered expectations, man. Assume twice as long so you're happy when it shows up earlier than that.

they were saying that when they posted it, but I still don't see the one figure I am most curious about. the one I am most interested in. the skeleton.

The skeleton will make it's debut at JoeCon if I recall correctly from their FB page.

The KS email the pic came with had this text:
This is the first time nearly the entire line can be seen together as a whole. SO the All-Ins will be receiving each and every one of these, plus the Ghosts of the Battlefield 2-pack, sixteen blanks, seven accessory packs, and four skeletons!

So yes, the skellies aren't pictured but they're still coming. They're likely holding back their presentation to JoeCon as the production delay prevents them having the con-exclusive pair ready to go for the show as originally planned. What's interesting is that they've pictured those Con exclusives here (the purple Spartan and orange bellystriped Gorgon on the righthand side) as part of wave one in conjunction with the bolded part of their quote above. You can go back a couple pages to see the stink raised by the All-Iners by their exclusivity, and the wording makes it look like BFS are being the coolest MFers in the toy industry and including them in free. I'd still be happy to pay for them, as my ire was solely about their exclusivity; but obviously getting them free would be the Kraken's Balls.

Well, dang. Looks like poor wording in the email text
"They aren't coming with the All-In package, but we are working on a way to make it available to the Kickstarter backers who won't be attending conventions.

That picture looks like one of my dreams personified in plastic.

I came to see if Adrien already posted it.
these are more awesome than I even though they would be. now I have to figure out how to get about 20 more.
the elbow seems sort of located at a weird point to me, but other than that they are really awesome sculpts.

Now I can understand fully all of the posts to their site from people offering themselves and their lives just to be part of their team. Offering to do whatever, even floor sweeping. Seriously, that skeleton is not only a dio lover's dream, but an animator's dream as well. Imagine what Jedsoon Chris would do with an army of skeletons poised and ready to go in front of his camera.

With the right helm, I could easily recreate that scene from the Conan comics where the "thing in the chair" rises and fights him for taking his sword. I could give sweet homage to my childhood hero, Ray Harryhausen.

I would love to see BFS at a con.

I have sooo many dios planned for their offerings after my desk is cleared with Lance and Rasputin's promises. I have been snagging God of War images like a bandit just for the inspiration and the architectural tidbits.
