Saw that there's a variant clear version of the Iron Spider-Man figure, found one today at Wal-Mart. Holding off on opening him for now, but I am a sucker for clear figures. Kinda wish they'd do a clear version of Klaw now that I see how the clear red looks.

Wow, wasn't sure there was any way for that horrid costume to look any worse on a horrid buck. But Hasbro did it somehow.

BBTS already has the repaint version in stock.

Is this version suppose to be going to regular "brick-n-mortar retail", or is it going to be like the Dark Galactus and be "online retail" only?

I'm not sure, but from comparing with online photos of the SDCC version, this one looks identical.

Is the SDCC version also this... plastic looking?

It's the exact same thing but not on the card. Same as dark Galactus ie just different packaging.

I just picked up the Bullseye/Daredevil & Wonderman/Quicksilver comic packs at Target....for $17.99 8-O

...comic packs were $14.99 yesterday :-(

I actually saw that clear Spiderman not long ago and passed on it. I found the wave with Psylocke and Storm... both of which were no where to be found. Multiples of all the rest but none of those 2.

With nothing new in the stores, I decided to finally pick up a movie Thor with his helmet on.
I must say that I am liking this figure a lot more than I ever thought I would. It's taller than I thought it was, and looks great next to movie Cap and Iron Man.

Also got my Black Widow repaint, and it's a beautiful figure. I love the solid black outfit and the gold accessories.

I've debated on picking that Thor up a number of times. It ultimately comes down to the fact that I'm just not crazy about the helmet style. Now that you mention putting it with movie Cap and IM, I'm more tempted. However, I'm sure we'll get a slew of figures when the Avengers movie comes out...

Only that slew will include two Caps, three Iron Man, and one Thor in the first wave, and we'll never see the second wave ever. :lol:

tempted to get the MU 5 pack. but now i'd need to go back and get a regular classic cap shield....

I don't know whether to laugh, because it's funny. Or cry because it's probably the EXACT thing that's going to happen.

My Target is filled with old comic packs still. I don't expect them to restock anytime soon.
I'm convinced my area Targets are lazy in restocking.
