Sweet Transformers haul. I'm gonna try and save up for one of the reissued Predakings, I hope. never had one. Closest I got was someone nabbing a bunch of loose ones at a thrift store in 1998 before I got to them.
Are you planning on keeping that Khyron figure? I still need him and Exedor for my Robotech collection.

The molds were first used in 1986, and like Hasbro, they kept reusing them over and over, into the early 2000's, when they switched to their current non o ring format.

Updates from the flea market and some CL finds:

Questions/comments from that last haul; some interesting stuff in there.

1. Is that a Special Mission: Brazil Leatherneck with gunk all over him? It kind of looks like it, and if so, that's a really strange thing to find.

2. Seeing that Built To Rule pilot in the upper right of the first picture totally bummed me out. I didn't know they made civilian/Adventure-People-style figures for that line, and it makes me wish that the figures didn't suck; I would kill for a line of figures like that.

3. Great find on that Steel Monsters Destroyer. I love that line, and it's one of the very few vintage lines that I think about collecting.

4. What's the deal with the "Guardian" 6-wheeled thing? Any info molded on, or does anyone recognize it?

5. If that vintage Dewback needs a home, I can help!

1. It seems that way. It's some sort of marker. Any suggestions on trying to remove it?

2. Yeah they had several non gijoe adventure types. I remember a firefighter and a scuba guy I think.

Removing that marker after (presumably) all these years might be tough; even if the surface layer comes off, the odds are high that it will have either discolored the surface, or that the natural fading of the un-markered parts will leave the areas that have marker on them a little darker. But it's worth giving rubbing alcohol a shot; the 91% variety will give you the best shot at removing it without damaging the rest of the factory paint.

And thanks for the info on the Guardian! I had completely forgotten about that thing, but now that you mention it, I do remember seeing it way back when.

If alcohol doesn't clean up Leatherneck, try taking him apart and soaking in Simple Green for a few hours-overnight.
