I have to say, a lot of these suggestions are cool figures that would fit in the FSS line, but the only one that made me feel like it was something I didn't know I wanted was Raptor's suggestion. Bonus that it could be done on a budget.

With different web gear, some goggles for the helmet, black and silver painted, and maybe a new head - we could have done this if we could have gotten some of the stock that turned up at ROSS.

Naturally though, I would expect a little better out of the GIJCC than just a repainted ROSS set.

My bet is on Frostbite as that is what I would do. Ever since Dial-tone, they have had a good formula going by getting the voice actors to con to sign carded membership incentive figures. We know that arctic Mindbender is next year despite the fact that they had been filling in a lot of holes in the 82-86 character roster. I think that means Frostbite has been skipped, likely due to the fact that the voice actor Chris Latta is unfortunately no longer with us.

They did say that this is one fans will certainly want. That claim is hard to make outside of the 82-86 list unless they dip into unmade characters like Pythona or maybe Big Lob who was not released at the time. Even then, characters like General Flagg would be incredibly popular with comic fans but not so much with people not familiar with the comic. So the promise of high demand seems like a chance for Frostbite to me.

Frostbite was also my first guess when Lanny mentioned that the 13th figure would be highly desirable and when Arctic Mindbender was revealed as the 2015 membership figure. However, I'm highly skeptical that he would be the figure because of the amount of new tooling required (probably at least a new head and vest) for a figure that only a relatively small number of people will be able to obtain. Also because of that general lack of availability beyond the subscription, he's also a figure that would really provoke fan rage. Then again, if the Club really wants to send a message that the FSS subscription is vital, I think Frostbite would probably accomplish that goal.

I like M.A.S.K, love the intro, the characters, the old toys, even some of the shows.... but I do not need to drop 25 bucks on a joe scaled mask character.
