If you can successfully remove the head from CC, would it be wise to drill the hole a little wider? I plan on using him as both Chrome face and hooded versions, and I'd hate to break the neck while swapping heads back and forth.

Yeah, with temperature fluctuations and plastic interactions, it wouldn't hurt you to take some material out of the socket at all. I'll probably do the same.

I ripped the arm off of my Crimson Guard on accident because it was seized up. Also my my mini Hiss came with two right treads.

Just opened CC, and while I didn't remove his head, just turning in turning it, it was really stiff. And why no backpack charger-holster? I still like the Resolute Commander as my favorite. My mini hiss was ok, but now I really miss no Retaliation PAC RATs for it to fight.

My biggest question with the Data is why his pack doesn't have a back peg. All that awesome gear and it just rests there with the helmet's grip on the head to hold it all in place.

I was wondering about that. The pack/shoulder gear has interior molding that doesn't match the Data Viper's flight suit. Like it was meant to clamp onto something else.

I finally opened Budo, and found he is another one of these weird let downs. Its like he's from another toy line. He has this great Samurai armor, but it renders him immobile. And his base figure is Renegades Storm Shadow (I think). His armored arms restrict his movement, as does his armored skirt. He looks awesome and I'd love to use him in a ninja battle scene, but he'd just be standing there. And while Samurais aren't ninjas, they aren't statues either.
In effect he's not Budo for me. I thought maybe I could get a few different accessories and improve him so I got a Silver Samurai on clearance, to see if his helmet would be better, but I have to mod it to accommodate Budo's pony-tail. I picked up a cast Hogun head from the Thor line, and that's a definite improvement, even unpainted, but again, both helmets don't fit. So I started looking on the web for a solution and I came across MSWI's Budo Image and said "Eureka!" I went to the AngelForge and ordered this: Image Plus the armor kit Image, and arms kit Image. I'm probably going to use Spin Kick Snake Eye's legs, Hogun's head and hope for the best.
