Interesting. I like what they've done with the Snow Cat and the AWE Striker, and I'm definitely interested. Most of the figures sound cool enough, and I do get a kick out of the Storm Shadow/Spirit set, and I'm pleased they're doing a Crimson Shadow Guard. The SDCC set is very interesting, with a Crimson SkyStriker and a G.I. Joe HISS, but I know what the price tag and availability of something like that is going to be, so I'm not even going to consider that right now. But -- I'm impressed with the concept.
I suppose I was really hoping for a 6" Black Series line, but that didn't seem to receive a very good response among the fans when it was even theorized, so I guess that's not going to happen. Too bad. I've been very pleased with what Hasbro has done with the Star Wars Black Series, but Star Wars is Star Wars and G.I. Joe is G.I. Joe, and especially given the fact that the next round of 3-3/4" G.I. Joe product is still a TRU exclusive, they just couldn't justify starting up a whole new size. And really, it looks like most of the 3-3/4" stuff is repaints, so not a lot in the way of new molds. They're very COOL repaints, but Hasbro is keeping molding costs to a minimum.
From what I see here, the "FOE Striker" and "Basilisk"/Snow Cat will definitely be on my list.
And, need it be said -- really, really nice tribute to Gary "Goggles" there.
