Now that we've gotten the last shipment of FSS2. Which do you think was better overall? Better character selection? Better designs?

I was looking through my inventory and judging by that FSS2 wins out big time. I only kept 8 of the 13 (although wish I had kept Jinx) in FSS1. FSS2 I only sold 1 of the figures (Cesspool).

I think on the whole FSS 1 was better. The female figures were really nice and then there is Big Boa and the Nano-BAT. Both sets were half great and half passable in my opinion, but my gut just leans towards FSS1.

I chose 1. There were some gold in FSS2, but I'm severely bitter over the 13th figure.

FSS 2.0 easily wins for me, even with the terrible 13th figure. Skullbuster and Desert Scorpion are the only two figures that I would consider below average, and Desert Scorpion was more of an issue with the parts combination rather than the idea behind them. While I liked FSS 1.0 fairly well, Grunt and Topside were both fairly weak (though Topside looks worlds better with the bulkier orange vest I bought from Raginspoon back at the 2012 convention), Quarrel's mold choice is not great even though it was obviously relevant to the character, I had no use for Nano-BAT, and Sure Fire was a character that exactly one person wanted to see (even if I like the figure).

I chose FSS 2. I think it had more figures I'd have bought at retail. It had more stinkers than FSS 1, but Toll Booth, Keel Haul, the two OGs and Cess Pool made up for how bad the bad figures in the set were. Falcon and Wide Scope were also good figures.

The FFS 1 had some really good figures, but only Big Boa really "WOWed" me. Cover Girl, Iron Klaw, Black Out and Top Side were nice, and Sure Fire and Barrel Roll would both have benefited greatly if they had been their blue versions, but over all, it was nothing spectacular.

Will I get FSS 3? It all depends on what figures are being included. The Club would do well to offer more characters from the 88-94 era, which some of the customizers on this site have proven can be made using existing parts with little to no modification.

The line up for FSS 1 was better. It was kind of all over the place which was nice. FSS 2 seemed to settle on filling in characters missing from the modern line.

With that said, the actual figures were better in FSS2 with maybe Grand Slam being the one true dud versus Tan Grunt, TNT, and I guess Sure Fire. I picked up way more of 2 than I did of 1.

I guess I'm in the severe minority in liking the idea of a red-paneled Grand Slam as the 13th figure. Okay, would've been nice to get Bombstrike or whomever, but hey, there's always FSS 3.0.

I'm just glad the Membership figure and the 13th figure were not switched. So glad to be getting Cross Country, would have been very disappointed to get Grand Slam instead, especially after last year's figure.

I chose 2 even though I only have 1 figure from each set (Iron Klaw & Bombardier)

I thought FSS 2 had the better selection of characters but the bonus GS was a real nut kick!
