I was in the stores 2 days before and 2 days after Christmas. While there were plenty of toys, Joes were not to be found in Walmart or TRU aside from a few wave 1 fangboats at Walmart and Wave 1 Roadblocks at TRU. What did you guys see? Did later waves even come?

Wave 3.5 is hitting MD but only in Rite-aid as far as I know.

My observations _

- No Joes and no one buying them. Target had one peg and they ended up on clearance.

- Little freakin rubber cutsie joe squinkie packages are clogging up every peg - I don't think that any have sold in the last 6 months.

- Boxing day is dead, long live black friday.

- Don't bother buying anything from a movie line at target for full price. IT seems every toy line tied to a movie is overbought and undersold this year. Wolverene figures and roleplay were on clearance before the movie was even in the theater.

- I just realized this season that Captain America is the Human Torch. If they get him to play Namor...

no new Joes at all for the holidays

TRU had Snake Eyes and Eagle Hawks. Target had nothing, and "5% off" sales on a couple of figures (that's F-I-V-E. Not 50%, not 15%). I didn't even bother checking Wal-Mart.
One of my best Christmas-time scores was wave 3B Crimson Guard and Cobra Combat Ninja from Rite-Aid at 50% off.

A sad retail presence, to be sure. Not just for G.I.Joe, but MU, Thor, Ironman, etc.

I found new marvel legends, the m.u. Abomination wave, and cpt. America 2 figures at tru today.

But I want joes dammit!
Kept looking around, found black retaliation commanders at wal greens on clearance, and found a green shipwreck at dg.

I'm sad.
