Gyre-Viper has been posting some interesting things on behalf of JoeDeclassified over in the
GI Joe Discussion group on Facebook. With his permission I'm posting them here to know your thoughts. Then Kevin Watts also updated his blog with a transparency for a green MCC.
First as a large battlefield image. They think for puzzles and bed sheets. Apprently this was never used in the US but has been seen in other countries.

So in summary: Bill Merklein [Hasbro designer] got someone a job. Hasbro had that person sculpt Zarana's head. A retail marketer who most likely either had some major pull OR was one of those hybrid marketers who works for Hasbro and the retailer, walked into a store, did NOT like the sculpt, contacted Hasbro. Hasbro contacted Bill, Bill re-sculpted her head for free. Then many, many years later, Bill told me the story about the marketer and then 3 years later after that I get a hold of a memo that actually has specific production numbers in regards to the situation. About a year or so after that, [Falcone] asks about the sculpt, and then I reply but am not sure if we're going to go into full detail yet and then Chris Murray replies as I'm replying forcing me to edit my original post and now here we are back in the present. "Back on the good old 27th floor."
Then we have this Ron Rudat [Hasbro art designer] concept art for a Cobra Tarantula vehicle so insane that even Guy Cassidy [famed Hasbro vehicle designer] said, and I quote "What the??? Come on. who was the designer on that?"

Lastly, Kevin Watts updated his blog, showing off a green MCC that he goes into a little bit more detail describing what that is and why it exists.
